Male Group Big Bang was presented an award in the UN Global Unity "Star Award" and stood tall as an Icon representing Asia.
Big Bang on the 24th attended "United Nations Asia-Pacific Global Tolerance with Music 2010" at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka where they were given the "Global Unity" award.
Big Bang was awarded this prestigious award because of their cultural and social achievements when it comes to music, they have not only shared the passion of music to the Korean audience but also to the Japanese Audience.
Big Bang's agency said on the 25th, "The award is such a profound honor. The future of music with Asians will advance to a better understanding and significance, We will try our best to help aid this".
Last Year, Big Bang was active in Japan where they swept the Local Japanese music market and won the Rookie of the Year award and they are also well received in other Asian Countries.
Big Bang performed their new song "Beautiful Hangover" also, "Gara gara go", "Number 1", "Koe Ki Kasete". They sung very well despite the hot weather as it was 36 degrees hot with over 15,000 audience in attendance.
